Hey y'all. We have a laundry room that must have served as a location for a second refrigerator for the previous owners because there is a water supply valve on one wall about a foot above the floor. There is some kind of copper tubing connected to it -- probably about 4-5 feet long and it's looped up against the wall.
Can we uncouple whatever has the tubing connected to the valve without risking turning on the water?
We still have to leave the water supply valve there though, right, or can we remove it and put some kind of a cap on the end of the pipe instead? Something that might look a bit nicer sticking out of the wall and would eliminate the ability to turn the water on?
Appreciate any help and suggestions as I am clearly not a plumber.
