Unidentifiable faucet stem

Hi,

I have a crack in my bathtub cold water faucet stem and I need to replace it. No one at any of the hardware stores or plumbing stores can identify it. I am hoping someone here can help me. There are no markings to identify the manufacturer of the faucet. Any ideas?
