Thought I would write a progress report, since this forum was very helpful.
I bought and installed the Aquia myself (see my earlier thread https://terrylove.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6805)
Install- super easy, good design. If anything it is easier than a standard toilet. I had never installed anything like this before. Used the tips on this forum and it helped.
Likes-
height is a bit taller so is more comfy.
strong flush
the soft-close toto seat is awesome. Get it!
easy to clean design
water savings are great
dislikes-
the trickling water sound when you use it- you get used to it but I wish it wasnt there at all, like before
low water level means the bowl gets dirty more often and you get more "smell" because your monkey business can quickly stay above water level- so you take it like a man or you courtesy flush it...
overall I love it and w/ my city's rebate program it was free. Can't beat that.
Even if it cost me, it is a worthy upgrade.
