I bought my house and was told the sprinkler system was turned off and not an issue.. I started to notice alot of my yard was very saturated.. I found the sprinkler heads about 4 foot underground and sprewing water.. i went to city main and followed line all the way to where it went into my house.. there is a portion where the water pipe splits into a y but the left portion leads to sprinklers still no shut off.. can i cap that right lead and be fine? No where near a plumber
