I see this has been discussed several times before but have not seen any solutions to the problem. I am on a well system, with a 3/4 hp pump. I have 15 zones with 3 heads per zone. My pump shows 55psi when running and dose not drop in pressure, but my sprinkler heads start off strong and slowly dwindle to a tricked. This only ocurrse on 4 of the 15 zones. I'm pretty sure its not a cracked pipe since all the zones are run on the same trunk line. When this happens I can open my filter flush valve and have plenty of water flow even when the zone is active

Remove the sprinklers or heads and flush the pipes. I once had a stone inside the pipe and it jammed at an elbow. Sand easily jams up pop up heads. Clean the pop up heads if you have them.

I appreciate your feed back. That was one of the first things I did thinking my lines were clogged as well. I did figure out what my problem was though. My system is almost 10 years old, and I found that the diaphragms on my valves were starting to swell up causing my problems. I have replaced 3 of these far and have not and any problems with those 3. Lol but of course I am now having the same problems with more of my zones. I will replace the rest soon and hopefully have it completely fixed

Thanks for the update! The diaphragms usually get stiff and it's first I've heard of swelling. Could be the PH in the water but ten years there's no complaint. Everything takes maintenance.

It sounds like you might have some control valves that aren't opening all the way. You should be able to listen down at the valve when turned on and see if you can hear a restriction in the valve. Often there's a manual bleed you can open - if the valve fully opens it should be rebuilt.
