The main waste pipe is dead center of the house. If it exits the house straight, it will be directly under the the front steps. Is this common or is it angled out to the street?

thanks.

Sewer main

It depends on how the plumbers who did the work at the time remember the front steps might not have been there at the time,

if you really want to know hire a plumbing co. With a camera to trace it for you,

NOTE THE CAMERA HAS A TRANSPONDER THAT CAN BE TRACK ALONG WITH THE DEPTH AT THAT SPOT

Mac hit the nail on the head. When the drain layers laid the sewer the front door was not even there yet. Any plumbing company with a locater can trace your sewer. It doesn't need to be a camera, but it would be nice to see the condition of the sewer while they are tracing the sewer.
