Hi Guys,
Building a fairly large 3 bed /2.5 bath with full kitchen and laundry guest house in back yard. Old house is in front yard, built in 1950. Guest House in backyard requires a sewer pump. Should sewer pump tie in with the old house? Or should it tie directly to city sewer and bypass old house? It is ~100 feet to main house which starts with PVC sewer line (due to an addition from 1990's). This PVC then connects to old cast iron plumbing via rubber hose. The cast iron completes the final run of the main house sewer line. If the guest house line is run directly to the city sewer, then it would be about 160 feet. Plumbers are using a Liberty Pump Pro 380 and 2" line.
