Sand Point Well help

I have a sand point well that is 18ish ft down. I’m pumping 16gpm. Im holding 50psi at the pump no water leaks. I do not have a sprinkler systems yet. up just using for hose for now. Every morning it shows it holding 50psi. but doesn’t pull from well, Until I crack open the ball valve for a few seconds then the pressure kicks up and pulls from well. That only happens first thing in the morning and will be fine/instant all day after that. Does this mean I have a leak in the couplers of the well pipe?

Yes, most likely you have a leak before the check valve.
