EDIT: the combo dishwasher RO air gap were separate chambers and went with that. Working great.

Hello,
Recently purchased a Waterdrop G3P800 which does not come with an air gap faucet and the drain connection provided is saddle type. My question is two fold I guess.
1. I found two drain options to remove the saddle, one is a part of the dishwasher air gap but I’m worried about clogging from dishwasher so which is better? I think both could have that issue

2. The faucet is proprietary and has tds meter and flow control on it, would prefer to keep it, is the air gap on the dishwasher drain version sufficient and making an air gap faucet not necessary?
