Need some help draining the above heater. The draining outlet is connected to a non return valve and inlet. Do i unscrew this Draining outlet or is there another way?
Thanks in advance
Si

That appears to be the cold water inlet for a "bottom supplied" water heater. Whoever connected it did NOT know he had to install a tee with a drain valve. You have to "redo" the connection to install the valve but will probably get very wet doing it.

You might as well drain the WH to do what the above answer suggests...also you will have a hard time soldering a wet pipe.
