Replacing round vent

    Hello. How can I replace my old round bathroom vent with a square one? It's 8.5 inches in diameter and I can't find the same size as the old one in the store. Can I just use the fan motor of the new square vent to replace the old round one?

    Here's the picture of the vent- the cut out is about 10 inches and the metal vent is 9 inches in diameter:
