Suffered a broken heating pipe at corner that is less than 45 degrees. The installer didn't use a fitting to make the turn. It looks like a piece of regular type m pipe that was molded and bent slightly to fit into expanded opening on another 3/4" pipe. I've seen that done on car exhaust pipes but not copper pipes.

It could have been done with soft type K or L.

Is there any paint or writing on the pipe?

I'm new to this. Is the corner at 90 or 45 degree angle?
This strong man from UK bent a straight copper pipe with a spring inserted. I think he could do to 90 degrees or a little less.
Home depot sells pipe bender, too. The cheap kind bends only smaller pipes. They rent out tools, too, in case it's a one time job.
