Outside tankless NG: Is plumbing via crawlspace vent ok?

I have sealed up all my crawl space vents. I am installing an outdoor tankless on the side of the house. I would rather not put a hole in the floor joint that is sitting on the block that holds up the house. There are a couple of closed crawl space vents that I would rather use to run the natural gas line and plumbing lines outside. Is this legal?
