I'm building a new house on my own, I'm a novice but capable enough to get into trouble...

I have what was supposed to be a shower drain stub with a trap below the slab in our guest bathroom. I was informed by my wife that this stub is now a freestanding tub drain stub.

The center of the stub is 17" from the bare studs. The tub she wants specs 16.75" from the finished surface of the wall.

I know I need to move this stub and 2 or 3 inches I'm lucky enough to have placed a 12x12 box around the sub before I poured the slab. Before I cut up my vapor barrier and dig out the trap...

Is there an acceptable offset fitting that would acomplish this? Would two 45s be ok?

You can offset the vertical if there is room, but more often, you cut and redo the trap.
