New pressure tank

I currently have a 20 gallon well mate tank that died. I just bought a water worker 44 gallon tank. I noticed that my old tank is 1" connector and the new tank is 1 1/4". I bought the 1 1/4" tank tee but my setup is for 1". What can I do?

Get a 1-1/4" x 1" MIP x FIP Brass Bushing.

Consider using PTFE tape and pipe dope both.

I bought the 1 1/4" tank tee but my setup is for 1".

A 1-1/4 tank tee should screw into the tank. The tank tee will have both 1-1/4 MIP threads and 1 inch FIP threads.

Most tank Tees have dual thread sizes, 1-1/4" male thread and 1" female thread. Just use the female thread with a nipple if need be.
