first time here. I am remodeling a bathroom and it is ripped down to Studs. Tub, Toilet Sink all out. My question with the bathtub is what is the proper procedure for re-installing new tub? Does drain kit go on before or after outting the tub in the alcove?
If it is before , how do you get the drain kit connected? What external access do I need either from below or from the room next door to make the connection. It is a second floor spare bath.
I have some plumbing changes to make because the old rough in was 14" oc and the new is 16" from wall to center of tub Drain and overflow.
