I am looking to replace a 60x36 bathtub in a rental which is about 16 years old. The only issue with the tub is that is is a little discolored and get difficult to clean. It was part of a surround kit that was installed by the builder and the back surround panel has warped to the extent it will no longer stay secured to the wall. I have tried several beads of liquid nails and that does hold.

I have considered having the tub reglazed and replacing the surround with tile but I am uncertain how well the reglazing will hold up and I don't want to do this every 5 years or so.

I would prefer a cast iron or porcelain enameled steel tub over a acrylic but I cant find anyone who makes them in this size. Kohler makes an Entity series and American standard makes an Aspirations series both in acrylic but I am skeptical of the quality.

Does anyone know of a quality 60x36 alcove tub? Depth doesn't matter but a short entry height is preferred for easier access since most tenants use it for showers only.
