Hi
I have a 240A in my crawlspace with a loop which serves my first floor well using the internal recirc pump and a plumbed loop. However, the second floor takes a long time to heat up and my kids complain about it quite a bit.

The plumbing for the entire second floor is fed with a single line set. I'm wondering if I can add a NaviCirc at the furthest sink upstairs to allow the water to circulate up there as well. I don't want to go to just the NaviCirc because of where the upstairs feed is - it would mean prioritizing hot water upstairs over the kitchen.

Appreciate any guidance or suggestions

you are much better off with a undersink kit from Taco or brand of choice that plugs into 120V in the sink cabinet.
of course, expect your cold water up there to be very warm, which sucks almost as bad as waiting, same as NaviCirc.

Water will always follow the path of least resistance, so your existing loop will likely provide that path whereby an upper level NaviCirc cross-over valve, may not receive any circulation flow.

Adding an under sink pump kit where the NaviCirc is shown as Breplum recommended, will ensure recirculation flow will occur throughout the upper level, independent of the existing lower loop.

Your diagram does not show a check valve. Ensure there is a check valve installed in the existing lower return loop, to prevent cooler reverse flow to the upper level fixtures, particularly anytime the lower circulation pump is not operating.

I anticipate an under sink pump kit will come equipped with a check valve.
