I'm new to the forums and I'm looking for some advice.
I'm redoing old bathtub plumbing and I'd like to have a bath filler, shower head, separate handheld and a ceiling rainshower.
I've narrowed it down to Moen and Delta. I've always liked Moen but they don't seem to have the right configuration I need.
With Moen I would use:
Shower Head, Tub Filler & Handheld
3520 valve
3372 diverter
128284 twin ell
Rain Shower
3520 valve
Cap off the top shower outlet and feed the diverter from the tub filler twin ell. Kingsley trim for everything with a tub filler diverter.
On the other hand, I could do everything a bit more simply with Delta.
R10000-UNBX valve
47201 cartridge
R11000 Diverter (3 position/6 options)
T17T455-CZ trim with tub filler and tub filler diverter
T11955-CZ Diverter trim
This Delta setup would let me control all three items from the diverter (plus letting me mix them) and just have one simple valve controlling the temp and volume. I'm not sure if you would use the twin ell plumb on this since I think the shower and tub fill outlets are the same gpm.
I'm just stuck in neutral and can't seem to get straight answers from my plumbing people. I'd sure appreciate any tips and recommendations!
Thanks,
Edward
