First I want to thank everyone here for sharing their knowledge. I've learned a ton and become decent at plumbing with lots of searching on these forums.
My question is, is this fitting too loose to solder. I've searched and can't really find a good answer.
I've done a little bit of soldering, but this is the first time I've had a fitting this loose. It is hard to describe so I've attached a video. Every joint I've soldered before, the parts fit pretty tight together.
This is a in-wall faucet valve that I'd like to use PEX for. If I have to, I can solder bit of copper pipe to the valve then solder a PEX adapter to the pipe; but the area I'm working in is kind of small so I'd rather not add the copper pipe if I don't have to. The copper pipe fits tight inside the valve.

Thanks for any help!
