Is it hack to use a tubular slip joint trap under a bathtub?

I'm installing a new American standard tub that came with a thin walled abs tubular slip joint style drain kit. For clearance issues I ended up also using a 1.5" tubular slip joint p trap and then after the trap adapted to 2" schedule 40 for the trap arm. The fitup seems solid but now I am questioning whether I'm going to have problems especially since it is on a 2nd floor. I'm envisioning a full tub draining and one of the slip joints failing.

Any thoughts if this is a bad idea or a code violation (it will have an access panel)? This is UPC in CT. Thanks

1. Good: UPC requires a permanent access panel for slip joint waste and overflow.
2. 1-1/2" trap is allowed on bathtub.
We've never done a tubular trap on a tub, but, when we use tubular traps, we use the orange or blue silicone beveled washers and NOT the harder plastic whitish beveled washers...they hold very well.
My company policy is: use a glue up trap and a no hub coupling adapter: tubular x pipe

why not just shit can the waste and overflow and put an ABS or pvc and glue it up?

It's not hack if it remains accessible. If the trap is buried in drywall then it needs to be glued.

Yes if its all accesable its ok to have slip joints. being on second floor dosent mean anything by itself its all about access

Gluing traps takes more skill than slip joint.
