Hi, I'm hoping someone can identify what these parts are and more so, advise on how to disassemble these to accomplish replacing what's leaking.
Unsurprisingly, the hot side will flow when the handle/valve is turned all the way closed. Running around to do the shutoff elsewhere has brought the residents much inconvenience but the hot water expense was even worse.

Not shown there is a cover plate up against the fiberglass shower that was held in place with a screw but it didn't seem to reveal any helpful components for further disassembly.

Do i just need to get a strong enough straight pull out on the handle(s)? Might soaking them in something and/or whacking them make that easier?
just trying to apply experience from other (automotive) mechanical methods but obviously wouldn't want to damage anything by experimenting

I'm not sure the brand but if you could soak them in vinegar that will break down the minerals. You should be able to pull the handles and disassemble the faucets with a shower wrench set. They are pretty cheap. If you have better wrenches that fit inside the wall then I'd use them.
