Joining 3" ABS to ABS DWV (repair job). Went to the box store to find the Fernco proflex and was surprised they had them.
Well one end seems a bit thicker than the other (just by a little bit). Upon further inspection, they only had part number 3000-33, which is listed for CI to plastic, ST, or XHCI. I went back and that was all they had: cast iron to whatever or the rubber boots with no metal bands.
Before I go an order online (where I can't return it easily), I wanted some to confirm: I think I need 3005-33, which is rated for Plastic to Plastic. Is this right? Or am I missing something (again).
