Hi, I have a rooftop Condenser from Carrier that was installed in 1997. I have a First Company Air Handler in the hallway ceiling. I have a Home Warranty from First American and the Condenser stopped working on August 6. First American says intends to replace the Condenser with a Lennox product but they say they cant locate a new Air Handler. System has been down for 9 weeks. What would you recommend? Thanks in advance for any tips. Best Regards, Dave

System uses refrigerate 22? Parts and equipment for a 25 year old system are not available as you have found out. Refrigerate 22 and equipment was phased out Jan 1 ,2020 . For a short time after the phase out equipment manufacturers made equipment without refrigerant they went quickly. Nobody is going to retrofit a refrigerant 410a ahu to 22. The complete system has to be replaced including the piping unless its buried in walls.
