How to run drain for double vanity

Hello,

I am opening a new thread because I decided to start over.

I am trying to run a drain for a double vanity in my bathroom. There isn't much space because of the drawers. I believe there is an 8 inch gap between the top and bottom drawers. The stub out from the wall sits right in the center of that gap. It is a 1-1/2 inch drain pipe. In fact, a vent pipe stands right behind the wall that leads to the roof I assuming.

How should I run this drain without resizing the drawers? What kind of fittings should I use for this run exactly?

Can I use a double combo fitting on the stub out from the wall to split to each sink and attach two p traps to each sink! Would that work?

Would that be allowed under UPC? Austin is one of the few Texas cities that use UPC.

Two traps on one trap arm is not approved under the UPC, but it will work.

Austin code has so may amendments you need a lawyer or local specialist to say what is allowed. You need to ask the local inspector what is allowed.

I had a licensed plumber install this drain system. When I run the water, I can hear gurgling. Behind the wall is a vent.

Should I complain about the gurgling?

Do you hear gurgling from the 2nd sink? If so the vent isn't working so a call is warranted.

When I use the first sink, I don't hear any gurgling from the second sink. I only hear the noise from the sink that I am using.

If I turn on both faucets at the same time or individually and let the water run down the sink hole, then I can hear water drain down the hole very loudly. It sounds like gurgling to me.

That's beyond me. Call them back. Maybe slope is wrong.
