Help with pump

The deep well pump that I pulled out had the ground wire inside the pump casing, this new pump has the ground wire hanging outside, where do it connect it

What brand of pump is that? Ive put alot of pumps in and never seen anything like that!

Connect the ground wire to any of the 4 motor studs. That’s what we did in the 1980’s when we started retrofitting ground wires to existing pumps. We Still do that to Hitachi and Karlington motors. That don’t have the ground wire as part of the premolded motor leads.

Looks like one of those Hallmark pumps. I noticed they ground to a screw on the pump or motor case.
