Hello, I am hoping that someone can help with this issue. After my plumber relocated the recirc pump to make it more accessible for a repair, there arena three hot water faucets in the house that can only get cold water. The rest of the hot water faucets are just fine. When the circuit breaker to the recirc pump is turned off, then all of the hot water faucets in the house get hot water. However, as soon as it is turned back on, those three faucets only get cold water. He is perplexed by the issue and does not know what could be causing it. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Without more info, hard to say. Somewhere in the system, there will be a check valve. Sometimes, that's built into the pump, but often is a separate device. THen, some systems use a cross-over valve at the faucets if the system doesn't have a dedicated return line.

Water will take the path of least resistance, and a recirculation system can make things confusing.

A diagram or picture of your setup may help to shed some light on it along with the model of the recirculation system you have. Some plumbers cobble up their own, some are engineered systems. How they are installed can differ so there's no one answer fixes all.

Here is a picture of what it looked like before it was moved and another one showing the configuration afterwards. It was moved about 20" down and about 20 inches to the right. It no longer has valves with the levers.
