Hi all,
I recently acquired a house that has an older (circa 1979) Federal Pacific breaker box. I was advised by the previous owner that she had been told by her insurance agent that she wouldn't be able to renew her homeowner policy until the box was replaced. Can anyone here advise as to whether there is any truth to this sort of thing? I was hoping to get a bit of info here before contacting an insurance agent. If this is the case, would anyone here know about how much it would cost to do this change? The house is a smaller 2 bedroom 2 bath with nothing fancy going on. Any comments or assistance are really appreciated!
