What size is the well casing? A submersible would be better than the jet pump. It would build more pressure and pump more volume. You probably need to pump the well out hard to clear the sediment. A Cycle Stop Valve would give you strong constant pressure and would work with a tank as small as 10 gallon size for multiple houses. The little pressure tank and fittings can go inside a building when you replace the buried tank like this.

The above system would replace the tank that is buried 10' deep.

You may not be able to pump the well hard with just one faucet. If you have a big line you can open it would be better. But if you have enough faucets to open so the pump stays on and the pressure stays low like 20 PSI, the pump will be putting out its maximum flow which is as hard as you can pump the well. Sometimes you have to pump like this for hours. Sometimes you have to pump hard for hours, let the well recover for 30-60 minutes, and pump hard again, and sometimes multiple times to get the sediment out.
