DIY homeowner here. I want to start by saying that I love this website and it has been a wealth of information for me.

This is my first time putting a tub in and the ABS drain kit I purchased came with a drain shoe / elbow that has part of it blocked by the threading for the drain stopper assembly.

I’m not finding any information online about this being a problem so my guess is that it will work just fine, but since I’m putting in a large tub that can hold around 100 gallons, I want to be sure this won’t cause an issue with draining in a timely manner.

Do I need to find a different drain shoe for full flow? Thanks in advance.
