Have used this site for years to research projects - Thank you! Finally have a question of my own. I'm redoing our master bath and will have two standard shower heads, a rain head and one hand wand. Have 3/4 copper supply lines. On a well so pressure runs 40-60 psi.
Originally I was thinking to run two standard pressure balancing valves each with its own 3 way diverters. Then I convinced myself to just do one 17T (to two 3 ways) since it can flow about 50% more, provide for a cleaner install and I think provide enough flow to use three of the heads simultaneously w/ good performance. Running the 4th I'm guessin might be a little lackluster but I don't think we really need to run all 4 at the same time.
I would run 3/4 copper to the valve and between the valve and the diverters (or would 3/4 PEX be adequate), then run PEX from the diverters to the shower heads (should I use 3/4 PEX for this or would 1/2 be ok between the diverters and the heads)?
Any advice would be appreciated.
