Hi,
I been reading this forum before but this is my first time posting.
I'm doing master bath and laundry right next to it. All on the 2nd floor then connects together and has to go thru first floor to the basement. From WC to the elbow changing direction from horizontal to vertical I only have 24 inches. It would simplify things if I can connect my laundry and bathroom together before connects to 3" drain. However I'm worrying that this would be against code since laundry sink at wash machine would become part of my bath group and wet drain even laundry would have its own vent? Is this correct?

BTW I'm using IPC 2015.
