I have my bathroom subfloor leveled and installed a pair of 1/4 inch steel plates across 3 floor studs to support tub. My tub is a Toto 1532 with small legs. I have pushed the tub into the alcove and marked the top edge of the tub on the wall studs. My plan is to subtract the width of the tub lip and locate the top of the ledger board there. My question is should I make it 1/8 inch higher to get it off the 2 back legs? And if I do that the tub will slope towards the the bathroom floor as it is level now. I read on a previous thread that you want tub to slope towards the back wall not into the bathroom. I can send pics if needed. Thanks.
