I am remodeling a bathroom and when trying to remove the old trap for the sink, broke the galvanized drain line where it is threaded into the cast iron hub. Any good ideas on how to remedy this? Thanks!

Search this site for donut spelled that way.

Replace the galvanized with plastic.

Sometimes you can use a tap and clean the threads out. Other times you have to cut the section out and go pvc. Depends where it broke you can use a fernco.
