Hello all,
As I was cleaning around my basement drain, I noticed there were three bricks in the drain. It seems to me that the bricks are actually supporting the top portion of the drain and that maybe a connection is missing between the top floor drain and the "hole" in the floor. Pictures are attached. Can anybody make sense of this? I am not having any particular issues with this drain, but there does appear to be a good amount of black sludge on the bottom. Thanks in advance.
