It appears that the my problem is that I replaced the booster pump with a jet well pump and they are not interchangeable. I will most likely have to buy a booster pump and replace the jet well pump with that. The only other solution that I can see is buying a pressure tank and adding it to my jet pump. Ideas??? I envy all of you plumbers out there. Plumbing can be a bit complicated for a DYIer like me. I thought that attaching the intake and outflow and wiring the pump was all that it would take, obviously wrong.

Why do you keep saying "booster"?

Do you not think the problem is short cycling?

The only other solution that I can see is buying a pressure tank and adding it to my jet pump.
The pressure tank is at the neighbor's house. That is where you fix the short cycling. Is the access not good there? In that case, you will need to put the pressure tank where you can access it.
