Thinking outtside the box here. Is it possible to take a bad pressure tank (assuming I can get the bladder out) and reuse it in line with a good tank? I was thinking that once the bad tank has been drained and everything put back together. I could monitor the bad tank psi as they are filling. I'm sure there will be trapped air in the bad tank. The goal would be. The same psi in both. Thus increasing the stored water. Am I nuts or looking for trouble?
