Is there any reason to run copper supply pipes horizontally with 90 degree elbows just so the hot water supply connection is "on the left"/ cold water is "on the right"? In one bathroom, it orients properly (hot left, cold right) but from the other side of the wall, it is (obviously) the reverse.
Is there any reason not to just connect the supply hoses and cross them under the vanity before attaching to the tap connections? My old pipes are set up with the horizontal runs but the whole set up is goofy and the studs have been butchered to accomplish it so I think I will be replacing studs and running new copper supply lines from above the floor anyway. Just curious..... thanks
