Terry, et.al: THANKS for this thread! It has answered most of my questions regarding the replacement of wall hung toilets in my 1971 built home. I have two Kohler Cayuga K-3440 wall mount toilets mounted back to back in adjoining bathrooms. I'm remodeling one of the bathrooms and want to replace the one in that bathroom, mainly because of the 5+ gallon flush and because the tank has a hairline crack (patched with JB Weld and still working for 20+ years). Based on the most recent posts, it looks like the preferred modern replacement for my toilet is the Gerber Maxwell Wall Hung 20-021shown above - correct? Is this Gerber model available with a round bowl rather than the elongated one? I would like to keep the round bowl I currently have, but will switch if it's my only alternative. Also, any suggestions for curing the slight "teeter-totter" effect I've experienced since I've owned this house when both toilets are being used? Is it just a matter of opening up the wall and shoring things up better? Thanks!
The gerber Maxwell is compact and takes up less space. It only comes in elongated. It will be a good replacement for your Kohler Cayuga wall hung toilet. Other options are the American standard glenwall vormax, Mansfield quantum wall mount. The gerber ultra flush wall mount, and proflo makes a wall mount too. The best option would probably be the Maxwell.
