Interested in anyone with experience with the Mansfield Pressure Assist Dual Flush. "EcoQuantum" Series (1.1 or 1.6)

Also interested in any pro views on the the effect of this unique combination of technologies.

Apparently they thought enough of this to publish a 10 page slick brochure
in 2004 (targeting the hospitality industry) which even features 2 pages selling the "Retrofit Kit".

I have been using a Vortens 1.1 gallon pressure assist with Flushmate in one of my bathrooms.

I find that there is so little water washing the bowl, that it's rarely clean.
The rinse does not cover the entire bowl.

OK. I guess common sense says that shouldn't be too big a shock.
Back to the drawing board on that one....if Mansfield is same...

Terry,
In you opinion does this hold true with the Gerber dual flush as well?

I ordered the dual flush tank (DF-28-380) but the warehouse was out so they shipped me the regular 1.6 gallon tank (28-380) in place of it.

The dual flush tank for the Gerber has been hard to keep up and running.
They seem to go six months and then need replacement.
I quit selling them.
Six months for a plumbing product is not long enough.
The EcoQuantam is made in China by WDI Technology.
I would not buy one.

I wouldn't get the dual flush in the Gerber or the Mansfield.

Dual flush a big flop

I know it has been almost two years since I posted on this tread but I a glad the warehouse ordered me the wrong tank for my Gerber Ultraflush.

I have read nothing but problems on the dual flush pressure assisted toilets from Terry and others.

Also still happy with the Gerber...works great for the Daycare kids as well as my Family.

Jeff

The 1.6 by Flushmate has been working fine
You lucked out on that one.

Terry:
Thanks for your honest commentary on the Ecoflush system.
Hi I have the dual flush Ecoquantum. It started giving me problems where it won't flush.
I had it for about a year and a half. What can I do about that? Can I ask manfield to give me another tank in replacement like a single flush pressure assisted replacement. What would you recommend?
Thanks,

You can replace it yourself with a Flushmate system:
