Toilet is a Crane Galaxy/Cranada (? No idea the actual model) judging by a picture guide and is around 12 years old.

I'm in the process of replacing the toilet tank bolts as one of the heads has snapped off. (As an aside, what's the pros/cons to using a Wing Nut vs. Hex Nut at the bottom of the bolt against the toilet bowl?)
I'm wondering if I should also replace the tank to bowl gasket at the same time?
If so I'm also having some difficulties understanding the sizing. The above site lists the following measurements - 3-1/2" O.D. x 2" I.D. x 1-1/8" high
but it doesn't correspond at all to the measurements I'm taking. Although I don't know how much that has to do with the gasket having been squeezed and compressed.
I'm measuring 9.7cm (3 13/16 inches) O.D , 5.7cm (2 1/4 inch) I.D , 2.2 cm ( 55/64 inches) high (only have a Canadian metric ruler, doing the conversion manually). This is with the gasket not removed and still on the tank however.
The Korky Universal Kit seems to be - 2-1/8 inch inner diameter, 3-1/2 inch outer diameter and 1-1/4 inch thick
The Fluidmaster one doesn't seem to list the measurements.
While I've also found this which says it's for Crane toilets - https://www.lowes.ca/product/toilet...kit-bolts-and-gasket-for-crane-toilets-191521
which has the following measurements -
