Is it advisable to replace wire to pump.......................

    when replacing the pump? It has been in the well since 2000

    If it is single jacketed wire I would replace it with double jacketed wire. If it is double jacketed wire and it looks ok, it should be fine.

    We replace the wire 99% of the time.

    I just bought new wire, a kit, and it is for a 3 wire pump, mine is 2 wire, just leave one wire off? or is it not compatible?

    Hook the wires up to the pump red to red, black to black and green to green and forget about the yellow
