Hi - Will be installing emergency exit lights in M/L public bathroom. Can't seem to find requirement in code. Looking for any input on placement. Over door point in or against opposite wall point out. Room is square.

Thanks

Not sure that they are required in that situation, but emergency lighting may be...this article has most of the relevant code requirements and local variations may add conditions, but not take them away from these...

Required at stairwells, exit doors, and a few other places, but maybe not individual interior rooms.
