We replaced a leaky pressure tank recently, afterwards had 40 psi. That lasted for a few days, then dropped to 20, then 10, now 5 psi. Replaced the pressure switch, it still reads 5 psi and there is no water, the few minutes we get any it's just a slow dribble then goes off again. Everything worked fine before the tank was replaced. We don't really know much about the well other than it has a submersible pump.
Thanks for reading this and for any help.

If the pump is running you probably have a hole in the well pipe.

I think you mean the pressure gauge still reads 5 PSI with no water. In addition to other stuff, you should get a new pressure gauge.
