thanks for the reply, not sounding any alarms was very encouraging - I then decided to play with the knobs (I thought they were in the ideal settings) and moving one from 'summer' to 'winter' along with moving the others slightly (for gas and water [volume?] ) definitely boosted the shower temp to 95. More than acceptable for me. I may experiment next winter to see if adjusting the gas / water settings can get it over 100. Thanks again.
