I turned off the water shutoff under the toilet and that stopped the leak. I cannot see where it is leaking from?

it is not where the line connects to the toilet.

If its not leaking from the supply line but leaks when you flush it next and its not leaking from the tank to bowl connection.. then its leaking either from a failed wax gasket(most likely), or a broken drain pipe (less likely, but possible)
