Hello,
I just installed a Katalox 2.0 cf filter with a clack ws1 before my water softener with a Fleck 5600sxt.
The output water from faucets are still brown but the backwash water I filled in a glass from the water softener is crystal clear.
Is there a way to plumb the backwash water to my faucets as I feel like something might not be working correctly?
Other information :
- High iron ferric water from well is dark brown rust colour with strong metallic smell
- water softener has not been cleaned since 3 years with iron out. Could this have an impact?
What could possibly be causing the backwash water to be outputting the filtered water (crystal clear)
