Remodeling our master bathroom and considering relocating the toilet. Currently toilet is about 1.5' from 3" soil stack with a 2" vent. I would like to move the toilet directly across the room which would require a horizontal run of 7' so I think according to code I need to add a vent somewhere in that run. There is an existing 1.5" from the jacuzzi tub that I removed that could be tied into. However since this is a second floor bathroom there is limited vertical space in the floor joists to work with and I dont think I can have the vent fitting positioned to come directly vertical off the 3" pipe. Is it ok to have the fitting angle off the drain pipe at 45 or 22.5 degrees?
