A backwashing filter would need 10 gpm backwash. But it also draws from a solution tank during regen. The BD setting controls the amount of draw, and the BF is set to zero to cause no water to be injected back into the solution tank.

I am thinking of a Fleck 2510 SXT (with a softener piston), but perhaps a Fleck 5800 SXT would do the job. Opinions?

Also, would a Clack WS1 be capable of this?

Thoughts?
