So maybe I’ll use a 1.5 in to the drain and connect to to the 2 in copper vent. Might clear the joist that way

And 1.5 inch copper to the drain should clear a bit better than 1.5 inch plastic.

Forsure, but I switched everything over to plastic for this remodel
